Interesting facts about the Interviews

Many of us go through various interviews in various IT companies.
I will be talking here about the IT companies only, as I have worked in IT companies. For other industries, people can provide their views in comment section of this website.

Fact 1 : There is no salary standard in the industry, if a company needs you it will take you on your expected CTC.
Plus this fraud/scam of having multiple offers to get the better salary, is spread by the industry people itself.
And same people will be giving lectures on ethics, honesty, transparency, moral values, respect the people etc...
Fact 2 : Most interviews are biased & depend on the interviewer's choice not on the interviewee's talent.
Fact 3 : If interviewer doesn't want to select you than s/he will find the reason by asking gany random question from Google.
Fact 4 : Many interviewers will not be doing any significant work in their projects nor will be doing innovation but will showing
all their hypothetical knowledge during the interviews.
Fact 5 : Interviewers from service based companies or small scale product based companies don't like you to prove them
wrong or less intelligent. So most of the time you will observe they don't do discussions about the problem statement.
They just ask you to give your solutions. If your solution is better or if they feel that you are better than them, they will
make the immediate decision to reject you & if you can't give any proper answer then you are obviously rejected.
Thats why you never get the feedback, you get the result only in the form of 'YES' or 'NO'
Fact 6 : Most people in the market are faking their knowledge/capability/experience to get the job, even one can observe
that many such people do lot of practise to speak confidently what the companies want to hear from them.
Funny thing, MAANG & many other big companies have the templates about what they want to hear from candidates.
And candidates practise & modulate their profiles/CVs to get into such companies at higher salaries.
Fact 7 : Many times it is not your day to get selected even after a good interview, accept it.

So you might be preparing for the interviews with so called, Product based or Service based IT companies.
And here I will be talking about my experiences in India only, as I have no idea about the interviews taken in other countries.

I will try to give my unbiased views about the interviews done in IT industry in India.
I will keep on adding my views here which may or may not be helpful to you in your interviews, so keep an eye on this section.
